My husband and I took a private charter for a day in Ischia and it was by far one of our best days in Italy. Our captain Angelo, a lifelong resident of Ischia, was SO knowledgeable about the islands history, topography, myths and legends. We stopped at a local restaurant accessible only by boat for a truly amazing local meal. We were able to swim in a local thermal pool on the bank of the island and explore a few caves rich with local history. This was truly a great way to explore a beautiful place.

My husband and I did the 1/2 day charter, and the boat was able to make it around the full perimeter of the island, with a stop to swim in the hot springs, and a delicious lunch stop at I Pirati (water access via dinghy). They picked us up directly from our hotel, served us Prosecco and snacks and made us feel so welcome! We had the most amazing time seeing the castle and enjoying the gorgeous sunset. The boat itself is gorgeous and is perfectly Italian/old school charm. I cannot recommend this tour company enough for a cruise to view one of the most beautiful places in the world.
